This the last month of Eliza's babyhood has been a fun one! Lots of play dates and being outside in the nice weather. Eliza has started to walk with me holding only one of her hands as I walk beside her. She looks kind of like a drunk old lady, but she is doing it! She also is giving her mama kisses, though she sticks her tongue out when she kisses me...hmmm...not sure where she learned that one! She also laughs at everything now! She scrunches up her face and cackles! It is soo funny! Her latest obsessions are doing laps in her tunnel we bought her, climbing under the chairs like an obstacle course, rocking in her rocking chair, talking on the phone and then handing it to mama to talk, bananas and yogurt and the biggest one this month is Chica the chicken on Sprout. When Chica comes on Eliza starts screaming and laughing, mouth open wide with a huge smile and her arms straight up in the air. It is quite a spectacle. We are not sure why she loves Chica, but we have started a never ending quest to find a Chica doll, which Sprout hasn't figured out might be profitable. Next weekend is the big first birthday party and we are so excited! I am pretty sure I invited too many people (um 40!) so I guess my idea of a low key 1st birthday party is out the window. But this means more people to sing happy birthday to my sweet baby! I can't believe how big my baby is and how fast this year has gone. I can't wait for many more years with baby Eliza. She is a precious angel and I hope she stays that way!
